From left to right, there is the house ... the barn / pole barn ... an interior shot of the barn. When we move here, everything was a 'shell'. We spent the first 6 weeks in a small camper on the front yard, while we (with a few contractors), wired / plumbed / insullated / ducted / rocked, the house.
While that was and continues to be a lot of work, what we've always seen with the property and facilties was potential. If you've looked at the property you can see the fit for a livestock operation, but it was the barn / pole barn combined with the property that sealed the deal. The barn is 36' x 100', plus the lean-to on the front and is a brick barn with an aluminum shell. As best we can tell it was built in the early 50's and therefore built by craftsman with solid materials. Each of the buildings have electricity and the barn has water, so for getting started we had a lot we could leverage on (we did and continue too ...).
